¿Qué Pasa con las Elecciones?

While the final results for this election are still pending, we know a lot about where we are as a community and as a country. We know there is a lot at stake in this election and many of CATA’s members are feeling the anxiety as their very ability to live and work in the U.S. could be threatened depending on the outcome.

These last few months have shown us the strength of our society as people flooded the streets to speak out against racial injustice. Communities have come together in mutual aid efforts to get food and resources to our friends and neighbors impacted by COVID-19. Many have made calls, written postcards, and helped their families, friends and neighbors register to vote and get to the polls. These past months have shown us what is possible when we come together as a community.

During this time we have been talking with CATA members and preparing for this moment, making sure folks were ready for a potentially long period of uncertainty. Our community continues to organize to fight and persevere and push forward!
