On farmworker awareness week, let's take action together to honor the critical contributions women farmworkers make.
Every March, women's history month is celebrated to recognize and honor the contributions, gifts, and leadership of women in our society. Lesser known perhaps is that at the end of March every year - from March 25 - 31, we celebrate a week dedicated to recognizing and honoring the contributions of an estimated 2.5 million farmworkers - men, women, and children who plant, grow, harvest, and distribute fresh fruit and vegetables all across our country.
This year, to mark these important commemorations, we interviewed farmworker and Campesina women leaders from across the country - inviting them to share their stories, their perspectives on the importance of women's leadership, and the campaigns that they are working on to win real and meaningful changes in their communities. We invite you to listen, learn, and share these interviews and to support the organizations that they are a part of!

Cada marzo, se celebra el Mes de la Historia de la Mujer para reconocer y honrar las contribuciones, dones y liderazgo de mujeres en nuestra sociedad. Menos conocido quizás es que al final de marzo cada año – del 25-21 de marzo, celebramos una semana dedicada a reconocer y honrar las contribuciones de los 2.5 millones de trabajadores agrícolas - hombres, mujeres y niños quienes siembran, cultivan, cosechan y distribuyen las frutas y verduras a través de nuestro país.
