A Call to Action: Stand Against Unjust Immigration Policies

In recent weeks, the United States has witnessed a series of distressing developments that underscore this administration's ongoing assault on immigrant communities. The unjustified raids and mass detentions in Los Angeles, the expansion of detention centers in New Jersey, the new travel ban barring nationals of 12 countries in mostly Africa and the Middle East from entering the U.S, the termination of legal humanitarian parole programs, and the mandatory requirement for all undocumented immigrants to register themselves with the federal government are just some of the examples of these relentless attacks.

The "One Big Beautiful Bill," proposes cuts to Medicaid and other social services in order to increase federal spending on immigration enforcement operations by more than $150 billion dollars in new funding, stripping away essential healthcare access for some of the most vulnerable members of our society.

These actions are all part of a broader pattern of policies designed to instill fear and division in our society. This relentless assault on immigrant rights demands a unified response.

We urge you to take action today. Contact your congressional representatives to voice your opposition to these unjust policies and inhumane treatment of the immigrant community. Together, we can advocate for a future that upholds the dignity and humanity of all individuals, regardless of their immigration status.
