Building Power Together: What We Decided at CATA’s 2025 Annual Assembly
CATA’s 2025 Annual Assembly brought members together to reflect on our progress and set priorities for the challenging years ahead. After six months of listening to our community, we approved a strategic plan focused on immigrant rights, farm outreach, food justice, strong partnerships, and deeper youth and volunteer engagement to guide our work through the Trump Administration.

May Day, Every Day: Immigrant Workers Take to the Streets for Justice and Dignity
Since 2006, May Day has been a powerful day of action for immigrant communities in the U.S.—but its roots go back to 1886, when workers demanded an eight-hour workday. This year, CATA joined allies to protest immigrant detention outside the Federal Court in Philadelphia and later marched in Princeton, sharing farmworkers’ stories and demands for justice. Our message is clear: We are here, and we are not leaving. The fight continues—en las calles y en comunidad.
